Las Médulas Foundation

SICTED

The Las Médulas Foundation is a member of the Integrated Spanish Quality System for Tourist Destinations (SICTED), which is a programme developed by the Secretary of State for Tourism (SETUR), the purpose of which is the integral and permanent management of quality in a tourist destination.

Acting as a management body, the Las Médulas Foundation is responsible for the implementation of the programme in the Cultural and Natural Space of Las Médulas. As a key figure in the project, being responsible for its implementation in tourism companies and services, the foundation is both a representative and a driving force in contributing to tourism quality at a national level by coordinating the actions carried out at the destination.

Being part of the SICTED programme drives the effort to continuously improve the visitors’ experience and satisfaction. It is a differentiating factor based on quality criteria that also cultivates more competitive and sustainable tourist destinations.
