The purpose and object of this legal notice is to regulate access, browsing and use of the website, whereby the owner reserves the right to modify the appearance, contents and configuration of the website and the conditions necessary for accessing and browsing it. Once modifications have been made to the website, access to and use of the site will imply acceptance by users of any changes made.

The organisation responsible for the website also reserves the right to modify the terms of this legal notice, in whole or in part, and to publish the changes on this same medium and on any additional media deemed appropriate to inform users.

The Foundation will not be responsible for the actions of users in certain situations related to their interaction through the official profiles on social networks, and users must assume the responsibilities that may arise from such actions, and specifically in relation to the following situations:

  • Information published on social networks that has not been published or shared by the Foundation or that has been published by third parties outside the organisation
  • When a social network is not operational for technical reasons attributable to its owner, to third parties or to force majeure

The Foundation undertakes to remove any content that is accessible on its profiles on social networks that is contrary to current regulations, immediately and as soon as it becomes aware of the situation.

The Foundation may warn and take appropriate measures to suspend and expel or block users who send or disseminate inappropriate content, and may decide to prevent the use of the social profile indefinitely in cases of repeated incidents.

The Foundation does not guarantee the veracity, reliability, validity or integrity of the contents of third parties uploaded to the profiles on social networks and does not necessarily identify with the opinions, recommendations or statements of third parties. It is the responsibility of the users to evaluate the information published on social networks and to assume the consequences of any decisions made on the basis of this information.

The Foundation will use its official profiles on social networks to disseminate its activities and aims and to inform about events, projects, acts and matters of general interest.

Disclaimer of warranties and liability

The Foundation does not grant any warranty nor is it responsible, in any case, for damages of any nature that may be caused by:

  • The lack of availability, maintenance and effective functioning of the website, or of its services and contents due to interferences, interruptions, faults, omissions, delays, crashes or disconnections caused by faults in the telecommunications lines and networks or by any other cause beyond the control of the organisation;
  • The existence of malware, malicious programmes or programmes that are harmful to the content on the network;
  • Illegal, improper, negligent, or fraudulent use or one that is contrary to the terms included in this Legal Notice;

    The Foundation accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage arising in general from the illegal or improper use of this website.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

The relations between the Foundation and the users of its online services provided on this website are subject in general to Spanish legislation and jurisdiction and to the courts of the province of León.
